T-Mobile reportedly launching postpaid eSIM support on August 28
T-Mobile plans to launch a new service tomorrow that will provide eSIM support to customers with postpaid lines, rumor has it. The information has been confirmed by a T-Mobile rep, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it will actually come out on August 28.
TmoNews reports a Reddit user named AirlineFlyerpublished a screenshot of a conversation with a T-Mobile rep, which reveals information about the not yet available service.

That is true starting tomorrow postpaid customers with a compatible device can add a secondary postpaid line on a single device or swap out your current SIM with an eSIM.
Although T-Mobile is running eSIM support since December, it's only available on prepaid lines with phones like iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, or iPhone XR. If the information revealed by the T-Mobile rep is accurate, starting tomorrow, eSIM support will be available on postpaid lines as well.
Aside from the iPhone models mentioned above, other phones like Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a include eSIM support, but they aren't supported by T-Mobile yet. However, that might change tomorrow if T-Mobile makes the announcement, so we'll keep an eye out just in case.
