T-Mobile officially getting the HTC HD2
A few weeks ago we had our first feeling that the HTC HD2 smartphone would be launched by T-Mobile, as it was showed by a leaked ROM. Now T-Mobile and HTC have officially announced the HD2, though no price or release date was given. It is currently listed as "coming soon" on the site and you can even submit your name and email address to be notified when it's released. For those of you not familiar with the HD2, it was originally launched overseas and comes with a 4.3" capacitive touchscreen (a first for a Windows Mobile phone) with 480x800 resolution, 5MP autofocus camera, Snapdragon 1000MHz processor, and will come with HTC Sense UI. The Press Release however does not state which version of Windows Mobile it will come with (6.1 or 6.5) and if it will be upgradable to WinMo 7. You may recall that HTC had some dispute over the claim that it would be upgradable to WinMo 7 a few days ago.
