T-Mobile offers MLB.TV premium for free to Simple Choice users
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
T-Mobile has been a major partner of Major League Baseball for a while and the company has just announced that it has renewed its deal to be an official sponsor of the MLB. T-Mobile has offered MLB-related deals before, but the new offer it has on deck (the pun was unavoidable, sorry) may be the best one yet.
While T-Mobile has offered free MLB At Bat subscriptions before, this year the carrier will be offering a free MLB.TV Premium subscription to its customers on Simple Choice plans. That's an impressive $109.99 value just for MLB.TV Premium, but the deal also includes a free subscription to the MLB At Bat app, which would normally cost $19.99.
With the deal, customers will get access to every out-of-market regular season game live. While you will be able to stream the games on your T-Mobile device and the data won't count towards your cap because it runs through Binge On, those who sign up will be able to access MLB.TV on any compatible device.
The one caveat is that the sign up window is limited to April 3 to April 10, which is the opening week of the MLB season. So, if you're interested in the deal, you'll have to set a reminder, though we'll try to let you know when the deal is live as well.
