T-Mobile may be launching the myTouch 4G Slide on July 27

According to a leaked screenshot which appears to show updates to T-Mobile’s launch schedule, the HTC branded myTouch 4G Slide may be hitting the shelves at a store near you on July 27.

The myTouch 4G Slide is a highly anticipated smartphone that boasts an impressive spec sheet. It will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread as well as the latest and greatest version of Sense UI courtesy of HTC. The powerhouse under the hood will more than likely be a dual-core 1.2 GHz. The star of the show, however, will be the 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash.

The myTouch 4G Slide’s camera will be able to record HD video in 1080p as well as capture HDR photos. It also has other features such as SweepShot for taking panoramic photos and BurstShot for taking photos at a fast rate. Those who enjoy a physical camera button will be happy to know one will be present on this device.

Although this high-end device may launch on July 27, this is not set in stone and no price is known at this time. Hopefully the date will be unveiled shortly. Tell us what you think in the comments below.
