T-Mobile launches Blackberry Pearl

As expected, T-Mobile has given the Blackberry 8100 Pearl a launch today. The slim smartphone is the first Blackberry device to support a camera and multimedia playback capabilities. It is a quad-band GSM/EDGE device with 65k color 240x260 TFT display, 1.3 megapixel shooter, SureType keypad, trackball for navigation, music and video player, memory expansion through microSD cards and Bluetooth 2.0 support.

The Blackberry Pearl is currently available on the T-Mobile website at a price of $199.99 with a two-year contract.
