T-Mobile drops on-line only Super Bowl teaser featuring Sarah Silverman and Chelsea Handler, also meet the “data vulture”
T-Mobile not only did pretty well in the recently concluded AWS-3 spectrum auctions, it has big plans for the big game this weekend too.

A few days ago, T-Mobile unveiled its signature Data Stash ad featuring Kim Kardashian West, and in the US at least, she is either adored, or folks are plain fatigued trying to “keep up” with the Kardashians (see what we did there?).

Nonetheless, her ad is actually quite self-effacing, and not gaudy in the classic sense. You can see it below if you want. The ad will air on game day, and T-Mobile promises more from Kim over the weekend. On top of that, those that sign in and connect with her on Twitter will get tweets from Kim with exclusive photos from her collection.

Then T-Mobile also offered up the latest ad for its Data Stash feature, a “data vulture.” For those that work in a professional environment, this data vulture behaves much the same way people often compare consultants to seagulls, except this vulture will grab all your unused data from the previous billing cycle.

Finally, we have the venerable Sarah Silverman and Chelsea Handler, two leading comediennes with quite different, yet disruptive styles to their acts. It does not sound like a match made in heaven, but that is probably the point as this nearly ad-libbed “behind the scenes” teaser gives us a glimpse of the ad that the pair pretty much wrote for the occasion. The feature ad will make an appearance during the big game.

T-Mobile is already the outspoken “Un-carrier,” and it looks like it is not slowing down, even if it costs $4 million per-30-second ad during the game.
