The last time we heard something big about surrounding the T-Mobile Sidekick LX 2009 handset was the disastrous events that unfolded with owners having to come to the realization of their data being lost. This time around though it actually has to do with an expected over-the-air update rolling out to owners with an eventual release happening by March 8th. Sure it may look like the Sidekick LX might be replaced with the rumored myTouch Slide handset, but this possible last update improves 3G connectivity for the handset. There's of course a reboot that occurs after the process has completed accepting the update; so don't get too jumpy when it occurs. Aside from that known improvement, there is really nothing else new to see with the update – it could possibly be the last time we hear anything about the handset. Although some owners that made it through the data loss debacle might be a little hesitant installing the update, we're confident this time around that there should be no concerns about a catastrophic event occurring this time around.
