T-Mobile rolls out Samsung Galaxy A6 Android 9.0 Pie update
Samsung's Galaxy A6 is clearly not among the best mid-range Android smartphones launched on the market last year, but if you bought one regardless of that, you'll be pleased to know that at least on US carrier is now rolling out the long-awaited Android 9.0 Pie update.
After a short testing period, T-Mobile has now confirmed that Samsung Galaxy A6 owners can download the Android 9.0 Pie. As per AndroidSoul's report, T-Mobile has begun deploying the update since May 24, but a wider roll-out should happen this week.
To be able to download the update, your Samsung Galaxy A6 should meet some requirements like 50% or higher battery life, and data connection. Now, if you haven't received any notifications about the update, you can manually check for it by heading to Settings / Software update / Download updates manually.
T-Mobile recommends users to back up their data prior to completing the update, but Android 9.0 Pie shouldn't delete anything from your phone, so it's not really required.
