T-Mobile unboxes the OnePlus 6T, Times Square takeover starts with 5pm giveaways
T-Mobile is the brave first carrier in the US that will be offering a Chinese phone in times when the US-China trade relations are at a low point, and it is not trying to do it on the hush-hush with a simple press release.
It was present at the OnePlus 6T launch event, then immediately announced that its current trade-in offer for flagship phones will apply to the 6T as well, and you can get up to $300 for your older handset (OnePlus gear included) as a way to lower the price to just $250.
If you hurry, T-Mobile will also spread the love in the form of gifts and freebies for the first 200 people that come to the OnePlus 6T takeover at its prominent Times Square store. The OnePlus festivities there start at 5pm, so get out of work early, brave the traffic, and take part in the 6T party - who knows what T-Mobile gift bag loot you might be bringing home.
