Android 8.0 Oreo update for the T-Mobile LG V30 is halted again
The Android 8.0 update for T-Mobile's LG V30 has been halted again
But now, the carrier says that on May 12th, it had to put a temporary halt on the update once again. Apparently, T-Mobile was receiving reports from subscribers complaining that the new OS build was filled with bugs. The nation's third largest carrier says that it does not know when the update will be available to be pushed out again. When it does happen, T-Mobile customers with the LG V30 will find their device re-branded as the LG V30 ThinQ. Along with the new name will come AI capabilities for the camera that allow the handset to analyze the subject of a photo and the lighting conditions. This will automatically adjust the camera settings to improve the look of the photograph.
