T-Mobile starts rolling out Android 9 Pie update for LG G7 ThinQ
T-Mobile is supposedly the third US carrier to release the LG G7 ThinQ Android 9 Pie update, after Verizon and U.S. Cellular. Although neither LG nor T-Mobile confirmed the update is now being deployed, Tmonews reports some T-Mobile customers have already installed Android 9 Pie on their LG G7 ThinQ phones.
A screenshot is presented as proof as well, and from what we're seeing, it looks like this a very large update. Make sure that your phones has around 2GB free storage since the file weighs in at 1.5GB. Apart from Android 9 Pie, the update is expected to include various bug fixes, as well as security and system improvements.
Unfortunately, there's no way to tell what other changes the update might bring since T-Mobile hasn't yet published the update's changelog. However, based on Verizon's update, there are a lot of new features coming to LG G7 ThinQ with the Android 9 Pie update, such as Dual App, Part Slo-mo, album bar, and many others.

Also, the update should include the June or July security patch, and possibly some changes unique to T-Mobile's version of LG G7 ThinQ that we're not aware of. We'll update the news when the full changelog goes live on T-Mobile's support website, so stay tuned.
