T-Mobile intros the LG Aristo (K8 2017), a cheap Android Nougat phone
T-Mobile today announced a brand new smartphone from LG, namely the LG Aristo. This is an affordable handset that's set to be available on T-Mobile starting January 25, two days after it should be released via MetroPCS (January 23).
The Aristo is a rebranded LG K8 2017, a phone that was announced for global markets back in December. The device runs Android 7 Nougat out of the box, sports a 5-inch 720p display, and supports VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling.
Powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, the LG Aristo offers 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 2410 mAh battery. Furthermore, the phone features a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 5 MP front-facing camera.
Reportedly, the LG Aristo will cost just $60 at MetroPCS (after rebate), while T-Mobile plans to sell it for $144 (or $6 per month for 2 years). You can check out the LG Aristo in T-Moible's unboxing video below.
