T-Mobile HTC HD2 owners get treated to 6 months of free gogo Wi-Fi service
Brand new T-Mobile customers who recently purchased the Windows Mobile powered HTC HD2 are getting treated to a special offer that involves internet connectivity while on a flight. Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi service is being offered free for 6 months to new owners of the smartphone – it surely comes in handy for those long flights when you're cramped up in your seat. In order to take advantage of this special promotion, HTC HD2 owners will need to register with the company before June of next year to get in on the deal that essentially allows you to surf the web on either your handset or computer while on select flights domestically. It's just one of the many reasons why T-Mobile's version of the HTC HD2 is so coveted – it supplements the existing new multimedia goodies that come packed with the phone. We were fortunate enough in using the service during our flight to CTIA and impressed at the experience we were greeted to – pages were quick to load and registration can also be done directly on a device once it's connected to the wireless network.
