Meet the first flagship phone that can be charged in 30 minutes, 90Hz display and SD855+ in tow
Forget all other phone maker technologies, at the top of the fast charging food chain we now have to put Oppo, whose new Reno Ace phone has a hearty 4000 mAh battery that can go from zero to hero in just 30 minutes.
That beats the previous record in a retail phone so far which belonged to... Oppo again, with the Find X Lamborghini Edition whose 3400 Ah battery can be fully charged in 35 minutes with the Super VOOC brick in its box.
For the next generation of Super VOOC 2.0 in the new Ace, Oppo upped the ante with a record 65W charger that can restore for you the whole 4000 mAh battery capacity for the time you take a shower in the morning.
These are not the only virtues of the Reno Ace, of course, as it comes with the top-end Snapdragon 855+ Plus chipset, up to 12GB RAM, a tall 6.5-inch 1080p display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 48MP Sony IMX586 main camera sensor on the back, along with wide and telephoto cameras.
Starting from just $420 over in the homeland, the Ace comes with the superfast charger in the box, thankfully, as it also needs the special cable to deliver all those electrons as fast as it can to the pack. As you can see, the powerful 65W brick is not even that large, as Oppo has used the trendy gallium nitride (GaN) technology to put it together. Any takers?
