Students and teachers can get a discount on the Galaxy S10 series from Samsung
So you want to buy one of Samsung's newly unveiled Galaxy S10 handsets, but you're a student still paying for classes and bowls of ramen noodles. Or, you might be a teacher (enough said). As pointed out by a Reddit poster, Samsung is offering an online discount for students and teachers that works out to an 8% haircut for purchases of the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. With the discount, pricing of the trio drops to $693, $833, and $925, respectively.

Even with this discount, buyers will receive the free Galaxy Buds, a credit for submitting a trade-in, and a BOGO from any carrier that is offering one. To qualify for the Student & Educator Discount, you'll need to have a valid .edu email address. The deal is available online only.

And if you need something else from Sammy, those with the Student & Educator discount can get a discount of as much as 40% off other products from the manufacturer. Besides mobile phones, products eligible for the discount include computers, tablets, televisions, appliances and more. If you do have an .edu email address, you can register with Samsung by visiting the company's website.

Pre-orders for the new Galaxy S10 phones are being taken through March 7th, with deliveries starting the next day.
