Steve Jobs biographer: "Bill Gates was smarter than Steve Jobs by almost any conventional measure"
Walter Isaacson who Steve Jobs picked for his official biographer wrote an extremely interesting nearly 600-page opus on probably the most successful CEO of the century, but let’s face it - Jobs was such a weird person, that it would hardly fit even in that many pages.
To speak about the iconic Apple chief executive, Isaacson was recently at the John Adams Institute in Amsterdam speaking about Jobs and there were a couple of interesting things and jokes he made that - if you like Apple - you’d find interesting.
The most memorable quote we’d point out was Isaacson’s reaction to the connection between Jobs and Microsoft’s CEO Bill Gates:
"Bill Gates was smarter than Steve Jobs by almost any conventional measure."
The biographer answers this and some other quick questions around the 46th minute in the video, and it’s all preceded by a quick introduction. Check the whole video out below, it’s worth it for those following Apple.
