Sprint's LG G4 receives Android 6.0 update
If you're a Sprint subscriber with the LG G4, here is some very good news. Android 6.0 is rolling out now. The update is being sent out in phases, so if you don't receive it right away, there is no reason to get upset. You will receive the update soon. Sprint says that it might take "several days" to arrive. As you might know by now, Android 6.0 comes with battery saving feature Doze. Like the name implies, Doze puts your phone into a deep sleep, increasing the standby time on your handset. As a result, battery life is improved.
Another new feature is the addition of contextual search with Google Now on Tap. The updated virtual assistant will provide search results based on what is on your screen. And the changes to app permissions allow you to decide whether to give or deny permissions on a feature-by-feature basis. The update brings the software version to LS991ZV9. It includes Sprint's Global Roaming feature along with the Android 6.0 update.

Before you start the updating process, you should make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. After all, major updates like this one are usually quite large. As a result, you should also make sure that your battery is charged to at least 50%.
