Thanks to a leaked sign seen outside an unnamed Radio Shack store that we showed you on Monday, we already knew that Sprint was planning on selling the HTC One for $199.99 with a signed two-year pact. Now, the nation's third largest carrier has fleshed out the rest of the information by announcing that it will start accepting pre-orders for the HTC One on April 5th. The actual launch of HTC's flagship Android model will be April 19th.
The phone will be available in silver or black with 32GB of native storage. Keep in mind that the HTC One does not offer a microSD slot to expand the storage on the phone. With 67 markets now covered with its LTE signal, the fact that the phone does offer LTE connectivity actually does matter now to Sprint subscribers.
Right now, those interested in the HTC One can pre-register by leaving their email address, which will allow Sprint to send them updated information about the launch of the HTC One for the carrier. To pre-register, click on this link.
