Sprint says that the software update for the Nexus S 4G will begin rolling out on July 25th
Previously believed to be available earlier this month, the upcoming software update for Sprint’s Google Nexus S 4G is now officially scheduled to arrive on Monday, July 25.
As we all know, there are some handset owners who were complaining about issues related to slow 4G WiMAX speeds and lackluster Wi-Fi connections. Fortunately for them, the upcoming update addresses them both while providing other things such as better signal strength, improvements with the speakerphone’s audio quality, and the addition of TTY support. Indeed nice, we’re confident that most owners will be pleased with their devices even more once they’ve installed this update.
With the over-the-air process commencing on July 25th, people are no doubt going to be excited about seeing that notification popping up on their devices. However, some might see it later than others, but either way, it’s expected to reach everyone within 3 weeks of its initial roll out.
