Sprint nabs the Motorola i1 and is bringing aborad the Samsung Moment 2?
Not like it hasn't happened in the past, but it looks like Sprint will be bringing on a handset to their lineup as we've seen the carrier share some of its postpaid offerings with Boost Mobile and vice versa. Customers can get a chance to purchase the Motorola i1 starting on June 20th where it can be directly shipped to a Sprint store, however, it won't physically be in stores until July 11th. The information comes from a leaked Sprint playbook which also contains a juicy piece of news regarding the Samsung Moment 2 that was heard to be coming. Although the Moment moniker won't be retained in the upcoming Android powered handset from Samsung, it's being renamed simply as the Samsung Intercept M910 – strangely enough, we heard about the M910 in an FCC filing previously. From the looks of it, the handset will start hitting stores on the same day as the Motorola i1 – which makes July 11th a pretty good mid-summer day for Android launches on Sprint.
