Sprint developer site 'announces' the HTC Hero
After stopping by at the FCC's webpage, the HTC Hero has now made an appearance at Sprint’s developer portal, so we guess an upcoming launch on the carrier’s network is inevitable. Well, the site does not provide info on when exactly the phone is going to come, but does mention that by the end of September, there will be an Android development section deployed there. We’ll keep you posted on the Sprint–Hero story once more details become available.
So, while Sprint is urging developers to start writing their apps for Android, we can spend a few minutes to check out these photos that showed up on the web. The sources claim the device is the CDMA version of the Hero. We do not know if these images are authentic or fake, but one thing is for sure – it looks rather different from the Hero we have seen.
