Sprint announced iDEN Curve and rugged clamshell
In addition to the five CDMA phones, Sprint also announced a couple of iDEN Nextel-branded devices.
The Curvefinally comes with iDEN taste, thanks to the BlackBerry Curve 8350i. It is similar to the other models, with landscape display, full QWERTY keyboard and trackball. Other features include a 2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, stereo Bluetooth and microSD slot. Sprint announced that it will be available before the end of the year, but pricing is yet unknown.
The second phone is the i576, a rugged clamshell with external antenna. It is certified to military specification 810F for dust, shock and vibration, has interesting pattern on the outside and looks like a really tough model. It has two 65k color displays and will cost only only $70 with a contract, starting October 19.
