Almost forgotten overnight when the BlackBerry Bold 9650 started to make waves, Sprint's version of the BlackBerry Tour 9630 is getting some new spice on life thanks to a new software update.
Tour 9630 owners will very much be pleased with the arrival of the official OS 5.0.0.983 update that's available through an over-the-air process. Although there is no change log to indicate what it's packing, this 111MB update will most likely be accompanied with some bug fixes to keep the handset chugging along like it should.
Before proceeding to install the update, it's always a wise decision to backup your data prior to installation.
