Special Deal for Microsoft Lumia 435 DTV in Brazil
Back in January, we told you how Brazil's version of the FCC, Anatel, had certified the Microsoft Lumia 435. Two months later, the phone is being launched in the country with some special deals. The Microsoft Lumia 435 DTV is priced at the equivalent of $123 USD, and comes with an app that allows you to watch digital television on the phone (hence the initials DTV after the phone's name). Those buying the device will also be able to take 20% off the price of a stay at the Hotel Urbano in the country.
The Microsoft Lumia 435 DTV features a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800. That works out to a pixel density of 233ppi. Under the hood is a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 CPU with the Adreno 302 GPU handling graphics. The phone has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of native storage and a 128GB capacity microSD slot if additional storage is required. This is not a phone for camera buffs with a 2MP snapper on back and a .3MP camera in front. A 1560mAh battery keeps the lights on.

Available in black, white, green or orange, the Lumia 435 DTV comes with 30GB of free OneDrive cloud storage and can be found in Brazil at major retailers and in the Nokia Store. Eventually, the phone will be offered in the U.S.
