Sony unveils the eco-friendly Naite unlocked GreenHeart phone for the US
Trying to do its part in becoming as green friendly as possible, Sony Ericsson announced the Naite that's an unlocked entry level GreenHeart handset aimed to help the environment. The eco-friendly phones saves on power and packaging thanks to its casing that's constructed out of 50 percent recycled materials and leaves out the user manual to cut down on paper consumption and shipping cost. When it comes to saving power, it includes a low-power consumption charger. This handset comes with a lot of features that aren't really associated with most entry-level phones – it features Bluetooth, FM Radio, 2-megapixel camera, quad-band GSM connectivity, and comes packed with Google Maps & Search. Considering that this is an unlocked handset, the Naite retails for $159 – not too bad when you see that's the final price for something that won't require a contract.
