Sony shows off the Smart Bluetooth Speaker BSP60: a "dancing speaker" that can complement the Xperia Z3+
Sony recently started taking pre-orders for a new Bluetooth speaker that the company is calling the Smart Bluetooth Speaker BSP60. Expected to start shipping later this month, the Sony BSP60 stars in its own promo video, which shows us that you can talk to it (thanks to multi-lingual voice control), and even "dance with it." Seriously, the speaker has a dance mode.

The Sony BSP60 can act as an alarm clock, event reminder, and music player (via a 2.5 W stereo speaker), while also letting you make hands-free calls - as long as the device is paired with your smartphone.

The new Bluetooth speaker weighs 349 grams, features NFC, and works with handsets running Android KitKat 4.4 or later. Sony says that this would be a perfect companion for the brand new Xperia Z3+, which is about to be released around the world.

You can pre-order the Sony Smart Bluetooth Speaker BSP60 in Europe for €299. At the moment, the accessory doesn't seem to be available in North America.

Check out the BSP60 in the video and photos below. What do you think, is the device worth ~$300?
