Sony asks Siri about battery life on the new iPhones, suggests users to switch to Xperia
Apple's iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus (both announced hours ago) come with various improvements, including 3D Touch control, 12 MP rear cameras, 5 MP front-facing cameras, a new A9 processor, and 2 GB of RAM. However, some things haven't changed, and battery life seems to be one of them.
According to Apple, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus offer the same battery life performance as last year's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. This means that, in most cases, users will have to charge the new iPhones on a daily basis.
Once Apple revealed details about the batteries of its new handsets, Sony thought it would be a good idea to take a jab at the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Using the same visuals that Apple used to invite the world to its event from earlier today, Sony is asking "Hey Siri, what about the battery life?", while reminding us that its latest smartphones - Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, and Z5 Premium - all offer up to 2 days of battery life. This was done via a tweet (check out the source link below) that also contains a link to Sony's website, where iOS users who want to switch to an Xperia can find out more about how and why to do it.
Would you switch from iOS to a Sony Xperia because battery life on the new iPhones may not be that great? Let us know in the comments!
