Last week, we told you about a user guide for a Sony Bluetooth speaker, that showed it to be compatible with a slate called the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. It seems that the latter might have appeared on Sunday, in a promo posted on the manufacturer's Facebook page. And there's more. On the tablet user's wrist, appears an Android Wear powered smartwatch. Both products are unannounced, although that could change when IFA 2014 opens in Berlin during the first week of September.
The image shows the tablet being used poolside, hinting that the slab will continue with Sony's trend of waterproofing the Xperia line, including tablets. The smartwatch in the picture is also presumed to be resistant to water.
The image appears to be mistakenly included in Sony's promotional layout for its Sony Smart Band. Ooops. As a result of the boo-boo, we can now look forward to seeing the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, and the Android Wear powered smartwatch, both see the light of day in less than two weeks.
