Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will ship next month in the US
Earlier this week, we told you that Sony’s Xperia Z3 Compact had officially arrived in the US - although Sony hadn’t provided a shipping date for it. Now, however, we know when the handset should arrive at the doorsteps of customers who order it. According to Sony, the estimated ship date is November 3 - probably a bit later than you’d expect. This means that you’ll be able to get an Xperia Z3 before a Z3 Compact in the US, since the larger Z3 will be available at T-Mobile starting October 29.
Of course, you may not want a Z3, because the Z3 Compact is smaller, and yet still powerful, while offering longer battery life (not that the Z3 isn’t a battery champ in its own category).
Sony is selling the Z3 Compact for $529.99, and you can choose to get it in four different colors: white, black, green, and orange. The handset is unlocked, and can be used on AT&T and T-Mobile. It won’t work on Verizon and Sprint, because it’s a GSM / HSPA / LTE device. You can find out much more about the new smartphone by reading our Xperia Z3 Compact review here.
