Sony Xperia S, SL, acro S and ion to start receiving Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean in May
We just love it when we bring news of impending software updates! So, which are the lucky phones this time? We guess that question is completely useless as you've surely read the title already, but anyway - it's time to pop the champagne if you're an owner of the Xperia S, SL, acro S or ion.

Now that Sony is rolling out the Jelly Bean update for the Xperia P, go and E dual, it has officially confirmed that owners of the S, SL, acro S and ion will start receiving their own update from the end of May, which means there's at least a month to go until those notifications start popping up, but it's better to be informed of it rather than to be completely unaware of if and when an update will be coming, right?

If's not clear yet exactly what new features the software update will bring, but judging by what the Xperia P, go and E dual are getting, it's safe to say that the package will include the core Android 4.1 features, enhanced Walkman, Album and Movies apps, Battery Stamina Mode, an updated homescreen and more.

Are there any of our readers who happen to be rocking any of these beautiful smartphones?
