Sony SmartWatch 2 gets an update to add custom watch faces and new features
The Sony SmartWatch 2 has received an update that allows you to combine clocks and widgets to create your own custom watchface. Instead of just having the date and time on your watch, you can add notifications, weather or the percentage of battery life remaining. And if you're tired of staring at the same black background, you can change it, choosing from custom wallpaper. Those with the device say that it feels much more responsive following the update, with smoother transitions and faster loading apps.

All apps can now be installed, enabled and disabled from the watch itself. Using the advanced settings mode allows you to control the settings on each app from your phone or tablet, using the Smart Connect app. And a calculator has been added, allowing you to perform math right on your wrist.

The update should appear on your watch. If you don't receive it, head over to the Google Play Store to install the SmartWatch 2 SW2 app, found at the sourcelink. You will need to have the Smart Connect app pre-loaded on your phone or tablet.

If you think that the Sony SmartWatch 2 would look great on your wrist, you can pick one up from Amazon, where it is priced at $143.
