Sony Ericsson Nozomi may be SE’s next flagship: coming March 2012 with Ice Cream Sandwich, 12MP camera, 342ppi screen
We’ve already heard about the Sony Ericsson Nozomi, which may turn out to be SE’s next flagship, but now we have some more clarity about the actual specs of the device. Folks over at Chinese tech forum it168.com revealed that the Nozomi will feature plenty of horse power with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor working along with 1GB of RAM, all powering up the yet unreleased Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

If released today, the Sony Ericsson Nozomi would be the phone with the highest pixel density as it’s expected to sport a 4.3-inch screen with a a 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, resulting in the whopping 342 pixels per inch.

The Nozomi will also pack a 12MP Exmor R sensor, the biggest we’ve seen on an SE-made handset, and you’d be able to save images to the 32GB of built-in memory. The handset features a 1750mAh battery and will use a micro SIM card. Excited? The phone is expected to get unveiled in January 2012 with a roll-out planned for March 2012, and probably that’s when we’ll learn more about the exact pricing and availability.

Thanks, Philip!
