Software download for HTC HD2 fixes SMS bugs, increases speed of messaging
HTC is offering a software upgrade for the HTC HD2. The studly Windows Mobile phone has been launched overseas and is expected to be shortly available in the States via T-Mobile as we've reported. According to forum posts at HTCPedia from those who have partaken in the upgrade, the software installs a new version of the SMS client for the handset and the speed is much faster. The number of each SMS conversations you have had with each person is posted. The vast majority of comments posted about this upgrade is extremely positive. For the sake of those in the U.S. waiting patiently for the T-Mobile launch, hopefully this version of the SMS client will already have been installed on the device.
The upgrade is available for those using ROM 1.66.XXX.X or lower. Instructions can be found at the source link.
