Social networking focused LG Town GT350 expected to launch in Europe
With social networking becoming a prominent focus on the every day lives of most individuals, it was only natural for LG to integrate this aspect into their latest handset that's currently shipping to several European markets. The LG Town GT350 is the successor to the LG KS360 which focuses in on social networking while offering a full touchscreen this time around. It apparently comes with a new user interface that's alleged to be based on LG's much popular S-Class user interface, but it is “designed to make it easier than ever to enjoy real-time interaction with friends on popular social networks” – such as Orkut, Twitter, and Facebook. In addition, the LG Town GT350 features a 3” WQVGA touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, 2-megapixel camera, microSD card support, and an FM Radio. However, it lacks support for 3G connectivity and users will have to rely on Wi-Fi for faster data speeds on the handset. Pricing should be pretty reasonable and will vary depending on the specific market – for example, it's selling for €149 ($183) in Italy where it's being branded as the LG Tribe Next.
