Skype adds support for the Verizon iPhone 4 & TV video calling
Just in time for the launch of the Verizon iPhone 4 nationwide, Skype just recently updated their app to include the latest member to the family. So if you happen to pick one up tomorrow, you can instantly get down using Skype for things like video calls or instant messaging friends.
Not only that, but they also taken the time to add H.264 video codec support which means you can essentially use the iPhone 4 to make calls to an array of other Skype enabled devices – such as television sets from Panasonic and Samsung. So rather than being required to get on your computer to catch that Skype call, you can plop yourself on your living room couch and enjoy all the offerings through your Skype enabled television set.
Still, we’re sure that Verizon customers will be taking advantage of the stellar network coverage they’ll be provided while using Skype’s various functions.
