Skagen Falster 2 smartwatch powered by Wear OS hits the shelves in the US for $275
Skagen's minimalist smartwatch, the Falster 2 went official late last month at IFA 2018, quite a bad time to introduce a new Wear OS-powered device is you ask us. Qualcomm announced early this week its new platform for wearables, the Wear Snapdragon 3100, which is promises, among other improvements, better battery life.
What makes Qualcomm's announcement even more interesting is the fact that the first smartwatches equipped with the Wear Snapdragon 3100 chipset will be launched by the end of the year. However, if you don't want to wait that long, the Skagen Falster 2 is a very elegant alternative.
The smartwatch that was announced only two weeks ago is now available for purchase in the United States for $275. For $20 more, you can even get the version that comes with a metal band, as the basic model comes with a silicone or leather band.
