Everywhere you look, there are a ton of Android powered smartphones that heavily rely on a dark colored exterior paint job, with very few sporting any lighter shades. The HTC Desire may be one handset that's in demand in Europe, but that doesn't hold back HTC from giving it a new paint job to make it stand out even more among the usual colored crop of phones. Currently the HTC Desire can be purchased in either brown or black, but online retailer Expansys is selling an unlocked HTC Desire in silver for £449.99. However, it is said that it would be shipped within 2 days and that “it will not be available for long.” At this point, it could be a limited edition color or something based on that – so you'd better buy one now before it's too late. Everything else on the handset is exactly the same aside from the noticeably new paint job.
