Second version of Opera Mini 10.1 Beta for Symbian is now available
When a good chunk of Nokia's current offerings don't necessarily support North American 3G bands, web surfing on a handset can be quite sluggish when doing it over slower connections like EDGE. In any event, Opera Mini has become appreciated by many people with its relatively peppy compression technology which enables the load up time when browsing on your handset to be a lot less straining.
For Symbian handset owners, Opera Software just recently announced the availability of the second beta of their popular Opera Mini 10.1 web browser. In this latest edition, Opera says that it now has updated the JavaScript engine – which would help to garner feedback from beta testers about its overall performance. Additionally, Opera states that its Carakan JavaScript engine is approximately four times faster than previous editions thanks to this ARM-optimized version. So if you want to experience the latest that Opera Mini 10.1 has to offer, be sure to download this version to your handset.
