Second-generation Motorola Moto E price slashed in India
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
Even though Motorola isn't expected to introduce a third-generation Motorola Moto E at next week's event in New York on July 28th, Indian online retailer Flipkart has taken an ax to the pricing on both the 4G LTE and 3G variants of the second-generation Motorola Moto E just the same.
The second-generation Motorola Moto E 3G is now priced at the equivalent of $94 USD at Flipkart. The 4G LTE version of the handset will cost you $109 USD. Trade in your old smartphone and you will receive an additional $31 in credit toward the purchase of either model. And there is more. Airtel subscribers will get twice the data they are paying for over the next two months of their subscription, with the purchase of a second-gen Moto E.
The second-gen Moto E features a 4.5-inch 540 x 960 qHD resolution screen. That works out to a pixel density of 245ppi. A 64-bit Snapdragon 410 chipset is under the hood, featuring a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU and the Adreno 306 GPU. 1GB of RAM is inside along with 8GB of native storage. Those requiring additional memory can use the 32GB capacity microSD slot that comes with the phone. A 5MP camera adorns the back of the handset and a .3MP snapper can be found in front. Keeping the pistons pumping is the 2390mAh battery that is inside the unit. Android 5.1 is pre-installed. The device supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity.

We've seen a lot of low priced entry-level phones in the country and the second-gen Moto E will compete among them.
