Earlier this month, we reported that Verizon had halted the original dissemination of the FRG01B build of Android 2.2 in order to send out a later version titled FRG22. But when the first servings of Froyo were handed out to DROID owners this week, it was the first build that was being sent out. The reason for this was all made clear by an e-mail that Verizon sent out to its business customers. According to the message, the carrier plans on following up this OTA update with a second one that will allow DROID users to download the Adobe Flash Player once it is available in the Android Market. Speculation is that the first round of upgrades will be completed by the 18th of this month.
