The new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ look absolutely fantastic, but the price tags that that they carry are bound to discourage some consumers. As you may know, pre-orders for the two flagships kicked off today in the US, and at launch, the duo will cost around $100 more compared to their predecessors - the S7 and S7 edge

Fortunately, a certain US retailer is prepared to alleviate some of the damage that a potential S8 purchase may do to your budget. If you're planning to get a carrier-locked version of the Galaxy S8 or S8+, it might be a good idea to head to Best Buy.

The consumer electronics chain is offering customers up to $100 off the Galaxy S8+ and up to $50 off the Galaxy S8 if they pre-order on BestBuy.com or in a local Best Buy store. The great news is that this discount will stack with Samsung's own pre-order incentive - a free Gear VR headset with a controller and bonus Oculus content. Select deals from Verizon, AT&T and Sprint can also be thrown in the mix, which means that you can get the new flagships for a reasonable price.

If you want to spend the saved cash on some useful gear for your phone, you might be interested in Samsung's lucrative deal for a pair of premium AKG headphones and a 256GB memory card.
