Save the date: Google's keynote at Google I/O 2017 to be held May 17
Folks, bring out your calendars and circle May 17, as this is when the head honchos at the helm of Google's Android development team will be holding a keynote at Google I/O 2017. Kicking off at 10 AM local time, the event will be held at the Shoreline Amphitheater for a second year in a row.
The whole shebang is expected to last around 2 hours, and unsurprisingly, we expect most of the allocated time to be dedicated to the upcoming version of Android, which is currently rolling under the "O" codename. The developer preview of Android O is already out, but surely this doesn't mean that Google's upcoming dev-centric summit will be a boring "no-news" venture.
We also expect some news regarding the further development of Google Home and probably Google's Pixel phone lineup. As usual, we'll have to wait to find out if this will be the case indeed, but rumors and preliminary info could be hitting us beforehand.
