Save $304 or 25% on the Surface Pro 6 at Amazon
Looking for a high-end tablet? Amazon currently has a deal (via MS Poweruser)  on the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 that will save you a little over $300. Normally priced at $1,199, the Surface Pro 6 with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage can be yours for $895. This saves you 25% and shipping is free. The Surface Pro 6 is equipped with a 12.3-inch display and sports a 2736 x 1824 resolution; the tablet carries an 8MP camera on the back and a 5MP camera in front. Microsoft says that the battery will provide power for a whole day, and Windows 10 Home is pre-installed. This model has the 8th generation Intel Core i5 processor under the hood. The deal is available only on the Platinum colored unit.

Another $50 can be shaved off the price if you apply and are approved for an Amazon Visa Rewards Card. Amazon also took 22% off the Surface Pro 6 model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but that configuration has already sold out.

If you do take Amazon up on this deal, you might want to add some accessories like the Surface Pen. While the latter normally goes for $99, a Microsoft certified pen by Penoval is available for $39.99 at Amazon. And the etailer will also sell you an official Microsoft Type Cover for only $98. This is a 25% savings that amounts to more than a $31 discount. The latter not only protects the tablet, but it also adds a physical QWERTY keyboard to the slate.

If iOS or the upcoming iPadOS is more to your liking, Best Buy currently sells the Wi-Fi only 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro with 256GB of storage for $949.99. That is a $200 or 17% discount for the latest model with an edge-to-edge screen, Face ID, and support for the latest Apple Pencil. The second generation pencil will cost you $129 at Best Buy (or $89.99 for a refurbished unit) and the smart keyboard is priced at $199.
