Sausage based stylus now ready for capacitive touchscreens in U.S.
Direct from Korea comes an accessory that might not be kosher, but it helps you navigate your way around a capacitive touchscreen, even when you're wearing a glove. The Sausage stylus uses meat to generate the electrical impulse that help capacitive screens work. Those impulses are blocked when you are covering your fingertips with a glove during the cold weather. The device says that it is not for consumption, so don't think about using them as a tasty snack. For those serious about purchasing this "Grand Slam Breakfast" of a stylus, click on the link. The regular price, according to the web site, is $3.99 but it is now being offered (off-season, of course) for 99 cents. Not only will the Sausage stylus work on the iPhone, it will work on any capacitive touchscreen phone including the upcoming HTC HD2 which is just about 2 weeks away from launch at T-Mobile. Bulls make money, bears make money and pigs can use a capacitive touchscreen even in the coldest weather.
