Satisfaction? Mini Rolling Stones album concludes Apple's 12 Days of Free Gifts
Apple closed out its "12 Days of Free Gifts" for the holiday season, by offering iOS users a free mini Rolling Stones album. Three songs from a filmed concert taken last year at Hyde Park were made available as the 12th and final gift. The album is available from the "12 Days of Free Gifts" app, or from iTunes, and includes live versions of Beast of Burden, Tumbling Dice and Gloom and Doom.
The promotion started on Christmas Day when Apple handed out an album from Justin Timberlake, which contained four songs from his performance last year at the iTunes Festival. Other gifts included free apps, movies, e-books and other items.
The "12 Days of Free Gifts" has turned into an annual event for Apple, but had previously been limited to European and Canadian iOS users. The just-ended promotion was available for U.S. iPhone and iPad users in 2013-2014 for the first time ever.
