Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab 5 7.0 reportedly being tested in India as we speak

Last week, we told you that Samsung is reportedly prepping four new tablets for its 2015 portfolio, most probably successors to its Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note slate lineups. The model numbers of said gadgets leaked out, hinting us that Samsung is probably once again developing two slightly different versions of each tablet (Wi-Fi-only and data+Wi-Fi ones).

Well, the rumors regarding Samsung's tablet lineup for 2015 continue to circulate in the air. From the looks of it, Samsung has sent three slightly-different versions of a new 7.0-inch tablet to India for R&D purposes, which is rolling under the SM-T239 model number. The device got caught at the Zauba data website, which keeps tabs on the imported and exported electronic goods from India.

Back on the SM-T239, it looks like 6 units of the slate under development have made their way to India. Three of them are donning a single SIM card slot and will be destroyed afterwards. Three more SM-T239 units have also been imported, and apart from the lack of a SIM slot, Zauba fails to give us more info about these slates.

Judging from all the data, we might speculate that this 7-incher will turn out to be the Galaxy Tab 5 7.0". There is no timeline for the market debut of all these new Samsung slates, but there's a slight chance that they might arrive at this year's MWC.
