Samsung's new tablets to include features borrowed from the Samsung Galaxy S5
Images from leaked firmware that will supposedly be used in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S line, reveal that some of the features on the slates are borrowed from the Samsung Galaxy S5. For example, diagrams from the leak show the fingerprint sensor being used on the tablet in the same manner as the feature is used on Sammy's flagship phone.
Another image reveals that the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, will both be equipped with the Ultra Power Saving Mode. This feature, also found on the Galaxy S5, allows 10% of battery life to last 24 hours. First, it converts the screen to a simple grey scale, and then starts to eliminate most of the functionality of the phone until all that is left is the ability to make/take calls and check email.

Besides the fingerprint sensor and the Ultra Power Saving Mode, the two tablets will also offer some of the same wallpaper available for the Samsung Galaxy S5. Both new slates are expected to be introduced at Samsung's June 12th event, at which time we should learn when they will be available for purchase, and how much they will cost.
