Samsung has already kicked off the roll-out of Android 8.0 Oreo for quite a few of its smartphones, but there are still a lot of phones that have yet to receive it. Most of the Samsung smartphones that did not get Android 8.0 Oreo updates belong to the mid-range class, which is why the South Korean company decided to leave them last.
Samsung Turkey, one of the few channels that post information about future Android OS updates, has just published a list of smartphones that will receive Android 8.0 Oreo. Besides the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, which already got the update earlier this month, there are a bunch of other Samsung handsets that are supposed to receive Oreo next month.
Samsung Galaxy A3 2017, Galaxy A5 2017, and Galaxy A7 2017 should receive Android 8.0 Oreo updates starting July 6, Samsung Turkey claims. Then, the Galaxy J3 (SM-J330F), Galaxy J5 Pro, and Galaxy J7 Pro are said to get the same update starting July 13.
Although this information pertains to the Turkish market, once these updates start rolling out in a country, they will slowly expand to more territories in the weeks to come. We'll keep an eye out for any additional details on the matter, so stay tuned.
