Samsung reports 5 million Galaxy Note 3s shipped in a month
In just a month time, the Galaxy Note 3 sales have ballooned to the 5 million mark, Samsung boasted at a meeting with reporters. The third edition of the phablet that started it all went on sale September 25th in more than 140 countries, and hit US carriers about a week after, so it's been roughly a month of sales.

For the 30-day mark, Samsung Mobile's chief has apparently made a press conference to reiterate the success of the Note 3, where the 5 million number was announced. It is not clear if he meant shipped or sold, but in any case it seems that Samsung might have another hit on its hand with the S Pen-wielding phablet.

Besides the improved stylus in question, the Note 3 features top-notch specs, including the record 3 GB of RAM and a 5.7" Super AMOLED Full HD display, so there is plenty to expect from it, and users have apparently appreciated the effort.
