Samsung prepares two new WM smartphones?
Rumors of two new Samsung handsets are bringing more of a buzz than usual. One of the models, the Samsung Pivot, is expected to run on the brand-spanking new Windows Mobile 6.5 OS that is expected to be introduced at the MWC next month. The device is expected to offer a QWERTY keyboard, HTML browser, aGPS, Wi-Fi, and a 5MP camera with flash. It is considered an update to the current i780 model.
The Samsung Louve runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, has a side-sliding QWERTY with tilting screen and a 3.2MP camera. It will feature a widget interface that will be customizable, similar to the Samsung Omnia. No word yet on price or carrier, and besides, this is just speculation until the pair is expected to be introduced.
